MMother Still Laughing May 20, 2010 L. Myers (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) My 93 year-old Mother is still laughing. I loved the thought that I could find something for her that would keep her attention and keep her entertained. She loved the short stories and the scriptures or sayings at the end of each one. Thank you, dear author, for thinking about the older special people in our lives.
Good book , easy to read April 17, 2010 Wild Bill (Fenton,Mi USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this book for my wife. She liked it a lot. She has already read it all. Funny and insightful. Easy to read because you can put it down and pick it up and don't have to worry about losing your spot.
For 88 yr old mother February 24, 2010 Joan Hondowicz (Plano, Texas) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this large print book for 88 yr old mother with some alzheimer's and bad eyesight. This works well as she can relate to the topics and the stories are very short so she doesn't need to remember what she previously read.
Great, funny, easy read October 9, 2009 Aspar (SW Florida) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Set up in easy-to-read, put-down-pick-up-again divisions, the book was a blessing for my softly aging Mom as she learned she is not alone in a time spinning quicker than her memory is able to keep up. She is looking forward to sharing it with others.
Incorrect search February 16, 2009 Sick of Microsoft (Atlanta, GA United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The book itself is fine, it was a gift for my mother. I read a little of it and it was funny, I can relate to a lot of it now that I'm headed toward my own "senior moments". I was a little disappointed when I got it though. I did a search in Amazon for large print books and this one popped up and sounded great, but when I got it, it wasn't large print at all. Someone needs to fix the metadata associated with this book to remove it from that search. Thanks.
