I loved this book, it made my marriage better and full of joy! It is not written to husbands or men, it is not meant to change them. It is meant for women, better yet wives. I think this is a must read. It is full of scripture, the whole second half of the book is a breadown of Titus 2:4. A very in depth study. If you are looking for a book to tell you how right you are and how wrong your husband is, don't buy this, you will be one of few that don't like it. If you would like to know God's will for you as a wife, then this is for you!

It is a must read for all who are seeking a whole, healthy marriage. I don't agree with all of it but i take the good and leave the bad. It is excellent. She speaks the truth and backs it with the Word of God.

I recommend "Marriage in the red" by Dr. Levi Skipper. This is for both the husband and the wife. This book used scripture far better than this Pearl book. This book is not watered down or secularized. Dr. Skipper takes marriage and God's word very seriously and has a very practical way of presenting sound biblical teaching with marriage counseling and putting God at the very center of the marriage. I learned as a wife how to value my husband and my marriage with scripture memorization and how to hide God's word in my heart so that I might not sin against God or cause pain to my husband. I am far from where I need or want to be but I am encouraged, blessed and guided in the right direction by Dr. Skipper's book.

This book is amazing! It opened my eyes up to the wonderful blessings of being an incredible wife! I am SO thankful for it! My husband and I now share and incredible marriage...one that I never thought was possible! I came from a broken home, he from a mom & dad that have been married 38 years. My husband says "I don't know what's in the book, but it changed our lives!" I took over a year to read & really try and apply the things Debi said. Our marriage wasn't 'over' but it wasn't GREAT and INCREDIBLE! It is now! Thank you Debi!

This book is not an easy read. The author makes every point in her based on scripture, if you don't believe what scripture says (That God created Adam, THEN Eve, and that because of their disobedience to God, God sent his Son Jesus to redeem the world) then don't even pick this book up. It is for women who are married and have a relationship with God. THIS BOOK IS NOT OF THIS WORLD OR OF COMMON AMERICAN CULTURE. It is a KINGDOM perspective. Even to me, a believer, I was shocked at how much I still live in a worldly paradigm, and this book brought it out of me. I am thankful for it. Finally, a book that challenges us instead of 'telling us what our burning ears want to hear'.
