| Customer Reviews: Powerful Christian Film November 26, 2008 Disciple4thelord (New Mexico) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is one of the many excellent Greatest Heroes and legends DVDs. Each has a 5 minutes intro clip where Charlton Heston presents the story. I recommend skipping past and letting you child go straight to watching these exhilarating episodes. hen you buying these movies you will not only give your family good wholesome entertainment, but will also be helping to support Christian movies. Thank you and may God Bless your Christian home!
Inspiring Interest in Future Believers October 5, 2007 James D. Madden (Colorado Springs, Colorado United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This DVD production of the story of Moses has accomplished exactly what I had hoped for my 3yr old son: an interest in learning about the Lord and His involvement in the lives of those who trust Him. My son often recites (in surprising detail) various scenes from the tale. One of my fellow brothers in Christ calls my son "The Little Preacher" because my son enjoys capturing the attention of those around him so he can retell the story of Moses. I understand some reviewing this telling of the story may prefer stricter adherence to various nuances and literary exactness from Scripture - I can appreciate that as I am a literal believer of Scripture. There is never a perfect retelling of any Biblical story that will appeal to everyone's preference. As already mentioned, this achieved what I had hoped for my son: help him develop an interest in learning about the Lord and begin building a faith in the Lord.
Great for learning biblical culture March 10, 2007 V (SoCal) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'm not a religious person,so I appreciated how it was told with unbiased theology and how the creators of the dvd contacted a Christian minister and Dr from Jewish Divinity Hebrew school. My kids and I enjoyed it and learned a lot!
Could have been better June 11, 2006 D. H. Boz (Durham, NC) 10 out of 15 found this review helpful
For such an awesome Bible story, the animation for the crossing of the Red Sea was pretty lame. We know from history that there were at least a million people that crossed this massive body of water, and in the animation you can count maybe 25 people, crossing waist-high water. Other than that, the songs are annoying but the storyline is fairly accurate. The Red Sea crossing, which should have been the climax, was a major disappointment.
