Awesome...best CD I've heard in a long time! June 4, 2010 IDB (Charlotte, NC) I can't say enough about this CD. It is a GEM from start to finish...not a bad song on it. The first time I listened to it, I was hooked and can't wait for their next album.
Why NeedToBreathe isn't blowing up the charts and selling out bigger arenas is beyond me.
Keep up the good work guys!
Amazing sound May 20, 2010 Lisa McDonald Wow. These guys are amazing. This is the first CD of theirs that I have bought, I found them while I was browsing i-tunes and thought I'd give em a shot. Their first song on the cd is now my favorite song. lol. These guys have such an interesting sound to them, I have never heard anything quite like it.
Close but not quite complete May 19, 2010 J. Hendricksen (Right Coast) I really LIKE this CD but I dont love it. I thought the CD "The Heat" was better.
Musically well recorded, the songs are fun, well written and well played. Its seems
to lack a certain passion and delivery the songs from "The Heat" contained. B+
Outstanding CD!! May 11, 2010 T. Laux Wow. What a complete album! No fillers here people. This band knows who they are, and who they are is something beautiful.
I won't go into detail about style and who they sound like...haha, if you're here, that's what youtube is for. But this was INSTANTLY one of my favorite albums ever because of Bear's fantastic voice and the band's pure message delivered in an exceptionally listenable way. EVERY SINGLE SONG sounds so good it makes you feel THIS is the one they really want you to hear.
Their Christianity is fully essential for their songwriting, but listeners are not restricted to being Christians. It's darn good music anyone can enjoy.
Give it a try. This is one album everyone should own.
Genuine Music April 16, 2010 M. Sutton (Jefferson City, TN United States) Sound is unique - I'm personally loving the banjo and the electric guitar sound together (and I am SO not a country music lover). I just some them in concert and these guys are simply fantastic musicians WITH fantastic songs to sing. There's nothing bad I can say about them - they genuinely believe in their music and you can tell that in any one of the songs they perform. And that is the only kind of music worth my time.
