Awesome April 21, 2010 Nadine A. Bryant Toby Mac just keeps getting better and better. This cd instantly became a favorite as soon as we listened to it.
Toby Mac Tonight April 16, 2010 Jennifer Pelfrey (State Center, IA USA) Great CD! Love every song! Very upbeat, but with great praise. I have it on my IPod and love to use it when I run.
The Making of a Classic, cont. March 30, 2010 C. J. DePaul The lead song, Tonight is muy beuno with a sweet flowing sound. "With hearts that want more tonight" is there any reason to wait any longer? Following the same vein are Start Somewhere and City on Our Knees. Start Somewhere says to me--after all it's just the world stuff, put it aside and get moving on what God wants. City on Our Knees has a soft rhythem background, but it's the words that are important here. If something's important enought to do, what are we waiting for? "Two world's collide"--says to me--endless possibilities of what we can do, where we can go. Loud N Clear, is cute, Trudog is a crackerjack, but no pressure here, on this representative of the next generation. Showstopper is upbeat, kids just having fun in a positive way. This is heavy beat song, so instead of just lean with us, get ready to jump with us. Get Back Up is likeable, having two different styles that work well together well, but that's tobyMac, I can hear--love calling, love calling-- in the back of my head in some difficult situations. Captured has the hint of "Consume Me", let me get into God more and more. A heavy idea, but what I like most is the scrappy sound. Changed Forever is a bang up perforance by Nirva, a just love it sound with a big league message. Hold On--now did I hear that right? "Hold onto The Hand that's holding you" What a concept--God's already got a hold of me, but I have to take an acitve part and hold onto God, too? And then, Break Open the Sky, love that easy does it Jamacian influence and a reminder this world is not our home, "waiting for a crack in the sky" beautiful way to end the album.
Loved it! March 25, 2010 Jackie Jones (ASHLAND, NE, US) Since I purchased this item, the delivery was quick and the product was in perfect shape. The CD is awesome.
Diversity still rules! Verder is een bonus DVD meegeleverd met daarop 70 minuten extra's: de Making Of The Album "Tonight", From Studio To Stage, Behind the Songs Of Tonight en The Gospel Music Channel's Faith & Fame interview.
Veelzijdigheid blijft TobyMac's troefkaart. Tonight is om te smullen.
